| GLENDALE - Second Amendment supporters were out celebrating Thursday night at an Arizona park, and guns were welcome. The new law, which prevents Arizona cities from banning firearms in city parks, went into effect July 29. The law also allows people to carry a concealed weapon without a permit. Arizona is now the third state, behind Alaska and Vermont, to allow concealed weapons without a permit. Candidates for local offices showed up for the event. | TO ALL FREEPERS, I know SB1070 despite setbacks from the federal gov. is a step in the right direction EVERY state must take if they want to secure their borders. But something in me doubts even if SB1070 was a national law it would only be a TREATMENT for the disease of illegal crossings NOT AN IMMUNITY. So what would be a PERMANENT to the illegals problem? i propose every state have the right to secede from the federal gov. and secure their borders on their own terms.
